Jimoh FABIYI

Experienced insurance finance leader with over 10 years’ expertise in IFRS reporting, financial governance, and enterprise transformation.

Jimoh is a seasoned finance executive with over a decade of progressive experience in insurance finance, financial reporting, performance management, and strategic planning.

He brings deep expertise in financial governance, regulatory compliance, IFRS reporting, and enterprise-wide financial transformation across Life and General Insurance businesses.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer at NSIA Insurance, Jimoh held senior finance leadership roles across several leading insurance institutions, including emPLE Life Assurance, Old Mutual Nigeria General Insurance, Linkage Assurance Plc, Coronation Insurance Plc, and Cornerstone Insurance Plc.

His experience spans financial control, group reporting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, and performance management.

He has led several strategic transformation initiatives, including serving as Country Lead for the IFRS 17 dual-reporting implementation in Nigeria and Country Champion for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Transformation under the Old Mutual Group.

He also played a key role during the transition from Old Mutual Nigeria to emPLE Nigeria, leading the implementation of a new enterprise software solution and overseeing the design and deployment of the accounting architecture.

Jimoh holds a Master’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance and a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance from Lagos State University.

He is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN).

He is recognized for his strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined approach to financial stewardship, governance, and sustainable value creation.
