Chigoziem began her professional journey at NSIA Insurance as an Internal Control/Compliance Officer. With over 15 years of experience, she currently serves as Head of Internal Control, overseeing the company’s ethics, compliance, internal control, and risk management functions.

A Certified Internal Control Auditor, she is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and also a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and the Compliance Institute Nigeria.

Chigoziem holds both an MBA and a Master’s in Risk Management from the University of Lagos, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Ado-Ekiti. She is an alumna of the Lagos Business School, where she further honed her leadership skills.

Before joining NSIA Insurance, she worked at Foundation Construction Limited as an Accounts/Internal Control Officer, gaining hands-on experience in financial oversight and internal control.

Outside of work, Chigoziem enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking.
